Clint Enns is a Canadian mathematician and video artist who is passionate about avant-garde cinema and language theories; for his films, he often uses obsolete machines and technologies. Instead of high definition, he presents images with visible pixels, thus highlighting the material nature of the format. "The Death of Natural Language is an ascii animation of a plane crashing to the ground. The abstracted image mediated by ascii text parallels modern human communication; meaning is often lost or misinterpreted by the process."
Born in Canada.
Lives and works in Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada..
