Film
The young woman wanders round the town, going from bar to bar, from waste grounds to other streets, never finding the one she loves. Her desire cannot find its object, but the city allows her to forget her solitude. People stopped, danced, disturbed or took part in the shoot. If cinema stops everyday life, then here it is everyday life that catches up with us, like this young woman, lost in these post-industrial streets, confronting the inhabitants of a working class, Arab Montreuil, in the chaâbi music bars where the oud is almost no longer heard. Somewhere, a poet is improvising in the street.
