HUMANA CORPUS - Installation - 2024

présentée dans le cadre de l'exposition Panorama 26

Installation

A drawn body, based on photographed and imagined images, is alone in a room.

The body is depicted through elementary daily physical needs and expressions, while the only contact with the outside world occurs in a digital-virtual, immaterial dimension, through a screen. The body, as a tool of communication, expresses the human being and his existential condition. The opaque physical space is transformed into dreamlike dimensions, becoming a cosmic, phantasmagorical, surreal space. In its organic fragility, the body is placed between realistic and imaginary dimensions, interrogating its very being through a two-dimensional image, emptied, doubled and distorted.
