Camila Rodríguez Triana was born in Cali, Colombia and graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Universidad del Valle (2008) and from that moment on she has been dedicated to the production of her cinematographic and artistic work. Her work focuses on the notion of re-elaboration the way in which the retelling of a story never recreates the original.

Her first feature film, Atentamente (2016), won the Prix Renaud Victor at the FID Marseille. Her second, Interior (2017), was previewed at Doclisboa and nominated for the Doc Alliance Award. Her third film entitled En Cendres premiered at the Curaçao International Film Festival in Rotterdam, where it obtained the Honorable Mention of the Jury.
