Inès Sieulle

Born in 1996 (France)

Inès Sieulle is a French artist and filmmaker. She studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris before entering Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. In 2019 she made Murmurent les rivages, an experiment with virtual reality about solitude, based on the content of web chatrooms. Her transdisciplinary work is about revealing contemporary social dynamics. She combines her artistic explorations in video, sculpture, digital arts and installation in order to create forms of narrative on the border between fiction and documentary. By her linking of images, sounds and life experiences, she bestows on the fragments she gathers metaphorical dimensions designed to shed light on our world.
